Chocolate Twist

Haha! Let me tell you a story of the piece of Hershey’s chocolate.

Sometime in June, a piece of Hershey’s chocolate manufactured in USA made its way to a YISS camp in Singapore. The piece of chocolate had to be separated from his friends in the same bag and given away to group members in Timothy. Of course the chocolate was sad to leave his friends but deep inside it was happy because it could fulfill its purpose on Earth which was to be eaten and to bring happiness to the person eating it.

Anyway, this little piece of chocolate was given to a girl (ok maybe woman) named Abigail. And unfortunately for the chocolate, it was not eaten. :( Poor chocolate wanted desperately to be eaten and it cried a little. Abigail simply chucked the piece of chocolate in her green bag and forgot about it.

Months passed and poor little chocolate was still in the bag waiting to be eaten. It was months of pure agony for the chocolate and it was afraid that its expiry date would arrive soon. Then, its existence would have been wasted!

But one Saturday morning, while Abigail was still sleeping, Abigail's mummy came into her room asking Abigail if she could borrow her green bag because it matched her outfit. Abigail in her sleepiness said 'yah... it’s on my rack.' Mummy went ahead to take the bag and looking in the bag, she found.... THE CHOCOLATE!! :D and a piece of folded paper. She put it on Abigail's table and left in a hurry.

When Abigail woke up, she was delighted to see the chocolate and when she read the little note under it, a tear rolled down her cheek because she realised that her prayers had been answered by God. :)

It was then that the chocolate realised his greater purpose on Earth and Abigail ate the chocolate with a grin.
